Joyu Ho 2023-2024
Hello everyone! I am Joyu Ho, the Fulbright foreign language teaching assistant for the 2023-2024 academic year. I come from Taiwan, and I am thrilled to be here at LMU creating a conducive language learning environment while promoting Taiwanese-American cultural exchange. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sinophone Literatures from National Dong Hwa University in Hualien, and I have a strong passion for the fields of Sinophone Literature and Cultural Creative Industries.
I have several years of experience in literary creation and have received literary awards in Taiwan. I am also eager to share my cultural knowledge, language skills, and writing expertise with LMU students. Coming to the United States is an opportunity for me to broaden my international perspective, which I believe will greatly benefit my writing career. I am excited to get to know all of you in this year!
