About French Club

The purpose of the French Club of Loyola Marymount University is to promote French studies on campus and to stimulate interest in French language and Francophone cultures across the globe. Our mission is to serve as a network for cultural, social, and academic relationship-building for persons with interest in the Fench language and Francophone culture.

French Club organizes on and off campus activities that enrich French awareness and community outreach. French Club also does collaborations with other organizations on and off campus for special events related to the French language and culture,engages in French-related activities, and sponsors French-themed celebrations. French Club is open to anyone interested in French language, culture, and history regardless of their knowledge of the language and we encourage everyone to join us in our mission to become better global citizens!

Lucie Everett, Modern Languages major '21 History Minor

Bonjour tout le monde! I am in the class of 2021, a Modern Languages Major (Chinese & French concentrations), and a History Minor! French Club is a wonderful place to practice spoken French and meet new friends with similar interests. Fun fact: I speak 6 languages.

I am in the class of 2022 majoring in Honors Marketing with a Business Law concentration. I am originally from India and I can speak 4 languages and understand 2 others!

I am in the class of 2021 studying Studio Arts and Animation. I have been learning French for about two years now. I'm excited to be able to connect with other French learners and speakers and to immerse myself in various francophone cultures!

I'm in the class of '21, majoring in Humanities with an Art History concentration and minoring in French. I have been learning French for 5 years and I'm happy that we can all come together to learn more about French and Francophone culture!

I am a junior from Albuquerque, NM with an International Relations and French double major. Fun fact: I worked at a modeling agency in Paris for my last semester of high school.
