Kathleen Devine Metheny earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from LMU. While an LMU student, she actively participated in the Belles Service Organization, dedicated to improving the community. She recently co-founded College Advantage Advising, which provides high school students with advice and guidance about higher education opportunities throughout the United States. Earlier in her professional career, Kathleen spent over a decade at Princess Cruises focusing on marketing for the West Coast. Kathleen combined her interests in education and philanthropy to serve as a board member for the Educational Foundation of Orinda and a teacher for "Think First" (a character education program).  She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, while her three adult children divide their time between Northern and Southern California.
