Basil P. Caloyeras (History ’00)
Chairman, Magnetika, Inc.
Basil P. Caloyeras has been a BCLA Advisory Board member since 2007 and served on the Board of Regents from 2008-2017. He is Chairman and CEO of Magnetika, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of custom electronic components for the Aerospace and Defense industry. Basil continues the close association between the Caloyeras family and LMU which began with the establishment of the Basil P. Caloyeras Center for Modern Greek Studies which was founded by his father in 1974. In 2007, Basil and his sisters, Alexandra and Aliki, established The Peter B. Caloyeras Endowed Scholarship Fund, in honor of their father, to provide opportunities for students to participate in the Odyssey study abroad program in Greece. While a student at LMU, Basil was a member of the Alpha Delta Gamma fraternity. Basil lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Jennifer, and their sons, Peter and Phoenix.
