- Handshake is a tool that is used by many students to search and apply for jobs both on-campus and off-campus. The website also helps users to build a resume based on their coursework and previous experiences. More information is available on the Handshake website.

- BCLA Peer Leaders support new and continuing students at LMU. Their role is to help guide BCLA students to successfully address topics such as academic success strategies, transition to college, getting involved on campus, utilizing technology such as Brightspace, etc. Peer Leaders plan social events and workshops to engage continuing students and assist new students with the transition to college. Lastly, Peer Leaders are trained to recognize when a student needs to be referred to an academic advisor for in-depth advising or to other campus resources for additional support. - BCLA offers a number of work-study positions to serve as office assistants. Office assistants are given the opportunity to increase their professional skills, while maintaining the environment with efficiency. Office assistants typically answer telephone calls, emails, assist with projects, and interact with students and faculty as needed.
