Ms. Chang is expected to receive in summer 2020 her MA in Chinese as a Second Language and an International Baccalaureate teaching license from National Taiwan Normal University. Her educational and work experiences have given her a deep appreciation for language learning and teaching. Through training in her department and experience in both the International Baccalaureate and the Educational Program for Secondary School Teachers in Taiwan, she gained extensive knowledge about interactive language teaching. She taught an intensive course in the 2019 Waseda University Study-abroad Group. She taught for the NSLI for Youth Program by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs as a Chinese teaching assistant. She also worked as a drill instructor for the 2019 UBC Summer Overseas Chinese Program. Ms. Chang is a passionate educator and a life-long learner. She seeks to contribute her enthusiasm and expertise to the eager students of Chinese at Loyola Marymount University.
