For over 30 years, Dr. Grills has collaborated with community-based, social change organizations in Black, Brown, API, and Indigenous communities. As a psychologist, community-based scholar, professor and community leader, Dr. Grills is committed to tracking and where possible addressing the pulse of social justice issues in communities of color using her skillset in community-based participatory research. Currently we face racial disparities in COVID19 cases, uprisings for racial justice, and ongoing problems faced in communities of color. Dr. Grills will share key ways to live for justice at all times.

Grills was recently interviewed by ABC7 regarding how race factors into protests and unrest.
