Dan Priore and Alyssa Arredondo, both class of 2011, will reflect on their experiences at LMU and in their professional life. Dan's talk, Pedagogy in Practice, will explore his journey into the growing field of museum education and interpretation. Alyssa's discussion, Of Many Turns: An Odyssey of Discovery, will share how studying the ancient world equipped her with skills that lead to meaningful opportunities at one of the nation's leading natural history museums.

2nd Annual Classics and Archaeology Meet & Greet Alumni event, featuring a conversation with Molly Lower ('10).  Molly Lower has worked in education since 2016, starting as a history teacher at Bishop Alemany High School and currently serving as assistant principal at Redondo Union High School. Molly holds a master’s degree in school administration and a bachelor’s degree in classical civilizations from LMU as well as a master’s degree in Middle Eastern studies from Tel Aviv University in Israel. Guided by LMU’s commitment to social justice and education of the whole person, Molly works to support student learning by providing equitable opportunities for all students, fostering meaningful relationships with families and community partners, and implementing restorative practices.
From Homer to Hollywood: A Conversation with Screenwriter Kelly Younger
LMU alum, English Professor and Accomplished Screenwriter, TV writer and producer, off-Broadway playwright, and story consultant will share his insights with LMU students. His movie Candy Cane Lane, starring Eddie Murphy and produced by Brian Grazer, will be released this holiday season.
