Modern Languages Village (UNH 3900)
Celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar with the full moon at night, the Moon Festival is a traditional harvest festival observed notably by the Chinese, the Korean, and the Vietnamese people. At LMU, this is an occasion for students and faculty learning and teaching about China to gather and get to know each other as we embark on a new academic year. Even if you are not taking any Chinese or China-related courses yet and are perhaps just curious about this holiday tradition or the Chinese culture in general, please join us. There will be fun student performances, warm faculty greetings, and yummy mooncakes!
