"The Hidden Health Costs of a Pandemic"
with Inas Kelly, associate profesor of economics

Monday, Aug. 24, 2020 | 12 p.m.

How has your physical and/or mental health changed since March? As a health economist, Inas Kelly, associate professor of economics, is concerned with the unintended consequences of responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. She will discuss the intertwined issues of physical health, mental health, the economy, and education. While "we are all in this together," the vastly different circumstances that many people face will exacerbate existing inequalities, likely with long-run consequences.
