Liam Maher, Graduate Advisor
Liam is a philosophy masters student with interests in environmental philosophy and existentialism. Originally from Oregon, he spent the past five years teaching US History and Debate at a high school in Massachusetts. In his free time, Liam enjoys reading literature, watching movies, playing tennis, doing yoga, and exploring.
Jonathan Wallace Myers, Peer Advisor
Jonathan Wallace Myers (He,Him,His) is in his 2nd undergrad (Sophomore) year pursuing a bachelor's in International Relations with a double minor in Global Economics and African American Studies. It's his pleasure to serve as a Peer Advisor for you all this year, and he hopes to serve you well. He is active in many organizations on campus in a variety of different roles such as ORNT 1000 TA for LMU CARES, Secretary of Black Student Union, and a member of the University Honors Program. His hometown is Silver Spring, Maryland, a talent of his is swordsmanship, and one of his many hobbies is writing poetry. He hopes to be of assistance to you in the near future.
Michael Tapia, Peer Advisor
Michael Tapia is a sophomore Political Science major with a minor in Economics. He is from San Jose, California and loves to explore new places. His hobbies include working out, reading books, watching horror movies, and listening to music.
Lauren Kelly, Peer Advisor
Lauren Kelly is a junior Communication Studies major. She is originally from New Jersey and moved to Los Angeles in 2018 to pursue acting alongside school. She is the marketing manager of the horror theatre club at LMU. In her free time she loves going to the beach, playing instruments and working out.
Oliver Mass, Peer Advisor
Oliver Mass is a sophomore Economics major who grew up in the West Los Angeles area. He loves people and learning new things. He is passionate about helping people reach their goals. He loves soccer and supports Chelsea FC. In his spare time, he loves skateboarding, video games, eating, and going to the gym.
Oskar Palma, Peer Advisor
As a History major and East Coast transplant, Oskar Palma knows firsthand how overwhelming the transition to LMU can be. When he first arrived from New York, he often felt unsure about navigating academic choices and campus resources. That's exactly why Oskar is passionate about being a Peer Advisor—to help students discover the incredible support available through the Advising Center before they ever feel lost like he did. He loves connecting with fellow Lions about everything from course selection to making the most of the LMU experience.
