On October 26, 2023, Urban and Environmental Studies hosted an alumni panel featuring three panelists to share their journeys with current UREV students.

In July 2023, UREV Associate Professor Tyler Harlan and five UREV majors and minors attended the annual ESRI Geographic Information Systems (GIS) User Conference in San Diego, CA.

This course is an exploration of community-based efforts in the greater Los Angeles area and beyond, which contribute to making a better and more socially just world. The basic premise of the course is that through collaboration and cooperation we can, and indeed must, create a better, more just, and more sustainable world. The course is designed around an ethics of care and solidarity with one another and the natural world.
