Artist Talk with Mercedes Dorame
The Department of History was excited to welcome Tongva artist Mercedes Dorame to campus to discuss her artwork as she explores themes critical to recent Tongva history. As part of the University's wider celebration of Indigenous Heritage Month, the Department of History and the Laband Art Gallery hosted the renowned artist and held a reception afterwards.
