
Lion's Breath 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Breath Centered, Embodied Practice and the Art of Teaching
A 200-hour program combining a 150-hour in-person Teaching Core with a 50-hour Philosophy Core, fully aligned with Yoga Alliance RYT-200 standards and AYT. Designed for LMU MA Yoga Studies students needing the teacher-training prerequisite, and for community students seeking a rigorous, academically grounded certification. Teaching Core and Philosophy Core may be taken individually.

Who Should Participate
This program is designed for individuals who wish to expand, deepen and broaden their knowledge of Yoga, as well as those who are interested in beginning their training as a Yoga teacher.

Following the guidelines outlined by Yoga Alliance® for registered 200-hour teacher training programs, this program qualifies participants to register for the 200-hour credential and 50-hour continuing education credits, as verified by the instructors.

Breathe Ojai - Gold Yoga School
Gold Yoga School’s annual 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is rooted in the living Himalayan Institute lineage and thoughtfully adapted for modern seekers. Designed for those who value both traditional depth and contemporary scholarship, the program integrates classical yoga philosophy, embodied practice, meditation, Ayurveda, anatomy, ethics, and business fundamentals. Through a holistic and context-rich curriculum, students are prepared not only to teach but to deepen their personal practice with integrity and reverence. In partnership with LMU, trainees may complete an additional 50 hours of Yoga Philosophy coursework, creating a 200-hour pathway eligible for Yoga Alliance registration.

The USC Yoga Teacher Training is now being held annually on campus.
Dr. Eden Goldman-Led by LMU Yoga Health Science instructor, Malibu chiropractor, celebrity Yoga therapist, wellness author, and lecturer in the USC Physical Education & Mind-Body Health Department, Dr. Eden Goldman, the YSHX program features 25+ of L.A.’s top Yoga instructors, Yoga therapists, and Yoga-oriented Doctors on our guest faculty who will help guide you in evolving your Yoga practice. The program costs $3900 and since the class is limited to just 20-25 participants early registration is encouraged.
