Noah Niksefat '25 I Finance
Throughout my college journey, I've pursued a Finance major alongside a minor in Jewish Studies, which has been an enriching path of growth and discovery. My involvement in the Poland Study Abroad program offered me invaluable insights into European Jewish history and allowed me to immerse myself in a new culture alongside fellow LMU students. I eagerly anticipate a similar transformative experience with the 2024 Summer Spain Study Abroad program. Additionally, I had the privilege of being the Inaugural Intern from LMU Jewish Studies at the historic Etz Hayyim Synagogue in Chania, Greece. In this capacity, I spent a month serving as a dedicated tour guide for countless weekly visitors, expanded the Synagogue's online presence to broaden its reach and fundraising efforts, and implemented strategies to enhance operational efficiency. I am proud to have been awarded scholarships for both study abroad opportunities and the internship at Etz Hayyim Synagogue, affirming my dedication to the program. During my tenure as an Engagement Fellow for LMU Jewish Studies, spanning a semester, I advocated for the minor, courses, study abroad opportunities, internships, and events. I relished the opportunity to connect with fellow Jewish students and cultivate a thriving community on campus that welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. I've earned several Dean's List recognition and held the position of Treasurer for the Persian Cultural Association. Looking ahead, my aspirations include attending law school in Los Angeles and advancing my business experience in real estate.
