Felicia Ann Tacto
Research Assistant

Felicia Ann Tacto is a research assistant at the Psychology Applied Research Center at LMU. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Sciences, and a minor in Occupational Science from the University of Southern California. Her research interests include the impact of psychological trauma on an individual’s interpersonal relationships, worldview, sense of self, and physical well-being and the development and implementation of interventions designed to help individuals of diverse backgrounds heal from trauma. As an undergraduate, she served as a research assistant for the USC Family Studies Project, which investigates how early family environments serve as risk and/or protective factors in future interpersonal relationships. As a research assistant for the Psychology Applied Research Center, she will be assisting with the California Reducing Disparities Project, which aims to reduce gaps in mental health care among communities of color and the LGBTQ+ community through community-defined evidence-based practices.
