Evelyn Cruz
Research Assistant
Evelyn Cruz is a research assistant at the Psychology Applied Research Center at LMU. She recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Psychology with Departmental Honors and a B.A. in Sociology, with minors in Criminology and Latinx Studies. During her undergraduate years, Evelyn worked as both a research assistant and project coordinator in the DIMENSIÓN Lab, where she contributed to community-based participatory research (CBPR) projects in partnership with local Latinx communities. Her research interests focus on implementation science, community-partnered research, and increasing access to culturally responsive mental health services for underserved communities, specifically Latinx families. Evelyn plans to pursue her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology to continue advancing the overall mental health and emotional wellbeing of Latinx families.
