Graduate Research Assistant
Daliah Altal is an administrative coordinator and research assistant in the Psychology Applied Research Center (PARC). She graduated in May 2018 from Hanover College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During her undergraduate career, she worked on multiple research projects investigating attitudes and stereotypes towards the LGBTQ community and Refugees. She also had several internships, working with refugees and students from diverse backgrounds. Throughout that journey, she found her passion for intercultural and interdisciplinary communication, and research-driven initiatives for reducing prejudice and social injustices, and promoting mental health and resilience. She hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and to continue working with unserved and underserved populations all over the world, including in her home in Palestine.
