Alumni Spotlight: Jeremy Valle
Jeremy Valle (‘23, International Relations and Environmental Studies) is an Environmental Services Trainee at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), where he works on programs that promote clean transportation and environmental sustainability. His role focuses on grant management for electric vehicle charging infrastructure, helping applicants navigate state funding programs, ensuring projects meet regulatory standards, and conducting site visits to verify installations. Jeremy also supports public outreach through green fairs and “ride and drive” events that educate communities about the benefits of electric vehicles.
At LMU, Jeremy credits his coursework and research experiences for preparing him with strong writing, research, and analytical skills, particularly through the mentorship of professors like Dr. Finkel and Professor Cherif. He was highly involved on campus, serving as Attorney General for ASLMU and holding leadership roles in organizations such as Women in Politics and Model United Nations. Jeremy advises current students to get involved on campus and build strong connections, noting that the relationships and experiences gained during college often open doors to future opportunities.
