Carla Ramirez, Ph.D. Candidate
Post-Doctoral Researcher
Carla is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Psychology Applied Research Center at LMU. She has several years of experience leading data collection efforts for various cross-sectional and longitudinal projects that have employed a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods. Broadly, her research interests include examining the socioemotional correlates of health and well-being in minority populations, with an emphasis on identifying risk and protective factors that can promote positive developmental trajectories in these populations. Carla earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside and a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, with a concentration in Prevention Science, from Colorado State University. She is also currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Applied Developmental Science program at Colorado State University.
