Stuart Ching, BCLA Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education

Stuart Ching is a professor of English.  He has taught at the middle school, high school, community college, and university levels.  At LMU, he teaches courses in the university core and in the English Department’s undergraduate and graduate programs.  

Lauren Sinclair, BCLA Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Education

Lauren earned her B.S. in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon, her M.A. in TESOL and Ph.D. in International Education from New York University. She is dedicated to supporting holistic student success, and has taught core academic writing, philosophy, and history courses.

Sophia Markoski, BCLA Academic Advisor

Sophia Markoski earned her B.A. in Writing from Point Loma Nazarene University and her M.A. in English with an emphasis in creative writing from Loyola Marymount University. She is passionate about uplifting students' voices to ensure that they are heard, and in her free time, Sophia enjoys searching for LA's best iced almond milk latte.

 

Jasmine Towns, BCLA Academic Advisor

Jasmine earned her B.A. in Black Studies, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis on the social and cultural analysis of education from CSU Long Beach. She also earned a TESL Certificate from UCLA Extension. She is an LA native and enjoys many hobbies such as reading, writing, bike-riding, roller-skating, and yoga. She enjoys finding the best Matcha and Boba tea cafes in Los Angeles.

 

Miguel Reyna, BCLA Academic Advisor

Miguel Reyna earned his Masters in Higher Educational Guidance and Counseling from LMU, so he can personally attest to the power of this institution. It is with Pride that he states that he is an advisor in Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts, a Lion with a mighty heart, and a career educator. Miguel truly finds joy in empowering students to reach the beauty of dreams, aspirations, and potential. In his spare time, you can find him exploring the world through different bites of food. 

Ling Wong, BCLA Academic Advisor

Ling is from Singapore and moved to the U.S. in 2018. She earned her B.A. in Literatures of the World from UC San Diego and her M.Ed. in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs from the University of Southern California. Ling is a passionate advocate for diverse students and is committed to providing personalized support for students throughout their higher education journeys. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, hiking around LA, and grabbing boba with friends. 

Andrea Middleton, Advising Operations Coordinator

Andrea was born and raised in Belize, Central America. She moved to Los Angeles California in September 2014. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Belize and her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from University of the West Indies, Mona School Of Business, Jamaica. Her interests include going to baseball games (Go Dodgers!), walking on the beach and spending time with family and friends.

Yolanda Klishevich, Senior Coordinator of Academic Services

When Yolanda is not in the office, she enjoys walking or bicycling along the beach, attending her daughters’ sport events and cooking for family and friends.
