The Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies Department strives to build community and networks between our graduates and our current students. We hold a yearly event where alumni share how their Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies degree has shaped their career paths, which include jobs in library science, K-12 education, law, business, community organizing and non-profit organizations.
Alvaro Gonzalez '16, is pursuing a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University.
Angelica Diaz '16, is enrolled in the University of LaVerne's PsyD program in Clinical Psychology.
Nicole Gonzalez '16, works at Steelhouse Marketing as the Manager of Training and Development.
Nickolas Smith '15, is currently attending the Sandra Day O'Connor School of Law at Arizona State University.
Frank Romo '12, is attending the Shape of Two Cities Program through Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in New York and Paris, France.
