Originally, the idea for “Say Something Theological” stemmed from Dr. Charlotte Radler and Dr. Jonathan Rothchild as they wished to provide an annual conference that would be a venue “for graduate students to share their research in progress, engage in dialogue with one another and with THST faculty, and to think deeply about the theological dimensions and pastoral implications of their work.” The conference provides a space for students to articulate their theological voices, as well as engage in professional presentation of their research.
Say Something Theological: The Student Journal of Theological Studies is a continuation of the conference by providing a platform for students’ work to be published, their voices heard, and shared within the greater community. The journal was founded by Dr. Cecilia González-Andrieu in 2017. The journal is now entirely student-led, with Kayla Ray currently serving as Editor-in-Chief, Serafina Blake as Managing Editor, and Dr. Tracy Tiemeier as the faculty advisor.
