Join us on March 19th with Professor Feryal Cherif for a discussion on the history of and current war in Iran. She will be joined in conversation by GPI Undergraduate Fellows Miles Gibson and Jesus Lara. Attendees are invited to ask questions and join the conversation during the Q&A session following the presentation. All are welcome!
Professor Feryal Cherif, Associate Professor of Political Science and International Relations, studies international relations and politics of the Middle East with an emphasis on gender and human rights. She received her Ph.D. from NYU in 2005. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Politics and International Studies Quarterly among others, and her report on peacekeeping was published by the United Nations; additionally, she is the author of "
