5:30–6:30 PM – A conversation with Colleen Dulle and Marissa Papula, Director of Campus Ministry at LMU, centered around Dulle’s recent book, "Struck Down, Not Destroyed: Keeping the Faith as a Vatican Reporter" (Image, 2025), where she discusses timely topics like the Roman Catholic Church’s sexual abuse crisis, women in leadership, divisions within the church, becoming a synodal Church, and more.

Colleen Dulle is Vatican Correspondent for America magazine, host of the “Inside the Vatican” podcast, and the author of "Struck Down, Not Destroyed: Keeping the Faith as a Vatican Reporter" (Image, 2025). She was an ABC News Contributor for the 2025 conclave and appears frequently as a commentator on Vatican news for national and international outlets. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, she now lives in New Orleans with her husband, dog and two-year-old son; they are moving to Rome in summer 2026.
Marissa Papula is a writer, spiritual director, and retreat facilitator whose work has appeared in America, The Christian Century, the Jesuit Media Lab, and more. She serves as the Director of Campus Ministry at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
