German Program Fulbright Awardees
Since 1996, fifteen students who took German at LMU have received Fulbright scholarships to Germany or Austria. These students have had majors in a variety of subjects including English, European Studies, Film Production, History, Humanities, International Business, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Theater Arts, and Theology. Most of the students had never taken any German prior to coming to LMU and started in elementary German courses. They all gained proficiency in German while at LMU which is essential for their successful Fulbright applications.
