Method: Journal of Lonergan Studies was founded in 1982 by Mark D. Morelli with the assistance and support of Loyola Marymount University. It aims, first, to promote interpretive, historical, and critical study of the philosophical, theological, economic, and methodological writings of Bernard Lonergan. Secondly, it aims to promote original research into the methodological foundations of the sciences and disciplines. The first volume of the New Series will appear in early 2010.

MJLS is edited at the Lonergan Institute at Boston College and published twice yearly, in April and October, by the Institute.

Manuscripts (articles and reviews) must be submitted by e-mail attachment in .doc or .rtf format to Kerry Cronin at and accompanied by a brief biographical note and contact information. Submissions must follow that prescribed by A Manual of Style [University of Chicago Press]. Submissions in other formats will be returned to their authors for reformatting. References to any of Lonergan's writings that have appeared in the Collected Works of Bernard Lonergan must cite that edition, but may also cite older editions.

Subscription orders must be prepaid in U.S. funds and should be addressed to the Business Manager, Method, Lonergan Center, Bapst Library, Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467. Changes of address and other correspondence related to subscriptions and advertising should be sent to the same address. Subscription price: $16.00 US yearly for individuals; $28.00 US yearly for institutions.
