For BCLA students with financial need, assistance is available to help cover the cost of Spring Global Immersion Course lab fees. You are eligible to receive a grant commensurate with the level of aid you currently receive. Aid is only available for students with a declared major or minor in the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts.

A $2,120 - $3,655 lab fee covers airfare, lodging, and food for the trip. Scholarships are available, and the application is available here. Additional questions regarding the scholarship application can be directed to Dr. Janet Vera at janet.veralopez@lmu.edu.

What if I still cannot afford the lab fee?
If you still cannot afford the lab fee and do not meet the scholarship criteria, you can file a petition with the BCLA Dean's Office. The petition is available here.

I am not a major or minor in BCLA. Can I still apply for financial assistance?
No. Unfortunately, BCLA can only offer financial assistance to students who are pursuing majors or minors in our College. However, students from all Colleges are welcome to enroll in Global Immersion Courses. You are encouraged to seek assistance from your College's Dean's Office.

I am not sure if I qualify for assistance or not.
