Students in LMU's Political Science major learn to understand how political decisions are made, how those decisions can be influenced, and how values and beliefs affect policy on a local, national, and global scale. Majors are challenged to think in new ways, consider how ethics and morals affect political decisions, and examine international governments and the effect government and non-government organizations have on the world stage. LMU Political Science majors enjoy finding innovative solutions to complex problems, excel in research and analysis, and wish to develop a deeper understanding about international relations.
