Jaedyn Baker, Graduate Assistant
Jaedyn earned her B.A in English, with a Literature emphasis, from CSU Dominguez Hills in 2019. She is currently working toward earning her M.A in English from LMU, and her primary studies of interest include rhetorical theory, intercultural communication, and teaching composition. When she's not reading and writing, Jaedyn loves spending time with her younger sister and her cat, Maggie!
Sophia Markoski, Graduate Assistant
Sophia Markoski recently earned her B.A. in Writing from Point Loma Nazarene University. She is currently studying for her M.A. in English with an emphasis in creative writing. In her free time, Sophia enjoys trying to find the best iced almond milk latte in Southern California.
Daria Young, Peer Leader
Daria Young is a junior at Loyola Marymount, from Pasadena, CA. She is currently a double major in Urban Studies and Sociology. In her free time, Daria enjoys long walks in Hermosa Beach, watching TLC with friends, and taking care of her pet fish, Patrick.
Elizabeth (Liz) Westbrook, Peer Leader
Liz Westbrook is a senior political science major and peace and justice studies minor. She is a member of a pre-law fraternity, a dancer for one of the dance teams, and the communications director for LMU's chapter of the online magazine Her Campus! Post-grad, she plans on going to law school.
Robert Baransaka, Peer Leader
Robert Baransaka is a Junior Political Science major and Peace and Justice Studies minor, with aspirations to become a lawyer. He is from Phoenix, AZ, and made his first move out of state for LMU. In his free time, Robert enjoys a good psychological thriller and making fuego playlists.
Kandyce Mitchell, Peer Leader
Kandyce Mitchell is a Junior Psychology and African American Studies double major. She hopes to educate youth and teens on the importance of mental health. In her free time, she likes discovering new music, going to the beach, and working out.
Nya Jacobs, Peer Leader
Nya Jacobs is a junior screenwriting major from Washington DC. She has a Theatre Production degree from Duke Ellington School of the Arts, with an interest in visual arts. In her free time, Nya enjoys listening to music as she explores the city.
Kate Bayless, Peer Leader
Kate Bayless is a senior English major and Theological Studies minor. She intends to pursue a Ph.D. in English or Linguistics to specialize in the study of ESL writing. Outside of writing, she enjoys Philippine movies and listening to death metal.
Sabrina Isaacs, Peer Leader
Sabrina Isaacs is a sophomore Psychology major with a concentration in Pre-health from Central Florida. She’s also a member of the Opportunes, an on campus all female A Cappella group. In her free time, she likes to make music, sing, and watch movies.
Toni Williams, Peer Leader
Toni Williams is currently a senior, sociology major. She has truly enjoyed her time on The Bluff. In her free time, Toni enjoys painting, walking her dog, and playing sports with her siblings.
Judith Chavez-Cardenas, Peer Leader
Judith Chavez-Cardenas is a third-year student pursuing her B.A. in Sociology with a double minor in Spanish and Peace and Justice Studies. Some of her involvements on campus include the First-to-Go community, Grupo Folklórico, MEChA, and El Espejo. During her spare time, Judith loves spending time with her dogs, Loki and Thor, and caring for her plants.
Raquel Amador, Peer Leader
Raquel Amador is a senior getting her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Economics. She is currently a research assistant for a Community Psychology lab at LMU. In her free time, she loves listening and singing to music or at the beach playing volleyball.
Shanece Wells, Peer Leader
Shanece is a senior at LMU currently studying for her B.A in Psychology. She is from Phoenix, AZ, and in her free time she loves to bake and go on walks with her dogs.
Devyn MacEachern, Peer Leader
Devyn MacEachern is a junior Film, Television, and Media Studies major. She is from a small town near Boston, MA, and chose a school in L.A to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. In her free time, Devyn likes to hang out with her friends, read, and write. She also enjoys exercising and watching TV shows and movies.
Heidi Visser, Peer Leader
Heidi Visser is a senior at LMU, studying Psychology and Biology. She is involved in the Gardening Club and serves as Co-President of Empower HER, an RSO focused on women's health education. Heidi is an avid beach picnicker and hiker, who enjoys discovering nature spots in LA that are off the beaten path (which proves not to be an easy task).
Sarena Serrano, Peer Leader
Sarena Serrano is a senior Accounting major at LMU. She will be joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as an auditor next year. In her free time, Sarena is a huge advocate for rescue dogs and volunteers at her local rescue and shelter. #AdoptdontShop
