Transfer Students

Arial view of LMU

Welcome to LMU, and a special welcome to the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts (BCLA). We are so glad you are joining the LMU family. Our goal in the BCLA Advising Center is to help you understand academic programs and policies in the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts, make sure you get as much credit as possible for previous coursework and help you create a plan to meet the remaining graduation requirements and make the most out of your time on the Bluff!

New Transfer Advising

To ensure a smooth transition to BCLA, all incoming transfer students are required to attend a group advising workshop prior to course registration. In this session, we will explain degree and major requirements, review transfer credit equivalency to LMU degree, and guide you through the registration process.

You should not RSVP for a group advising session until you submit all of your transcripts and complete the necessary steps in the Future Lions portal. Review your Degree Works to verify that all of your transfer courses have posted on your degree audit with the exception of in progress courses. This will ensure that we can assist you with selecting courses that will satisfy your degree requirements.

To RSVP for a New Transfer Group Advising Workshop, please go through the Future Lions portal.
