Oct 25th, 9:30am-1:30pm: University Hall Atrium
In effort to raise awareness and help the LMU community personalize health information related to the 2012 Bellarmine Forum programming, we invite LMU students and employees to participate in the Health Now Health Fair. Come learn more about your health risks and various prevention methods that can help to keep you healthy. You can have risk factors measured such as blood pressure, cholesterol, and body composition. We will also assess behavioral risk factors such as exercise, smoking, stress, and eating habits. Evaluation of risk for the major chronic conditions of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes will also be performed resulting in a free personal health awareness report for your use. Health professionals will be on hand to discuss your results and information about helpful resources will be provided for free. Attendees can enter to win one of several prizes. The Health Now Health Fair is a collaborative effort by Student Health Services, Student Psychological Services, Human Resources, and LMU's FitWell Center. It is strongly recommended that you make an appointment for the health fair.
Please note that your screening results will be most accurate if you fast for 7-8 hours before your appointment, i.e. you should avoid all food and drink, although water is okay. Participation in the entire fair should take less than one hour but is necessary to win one of the awesome raffle prizes.

Walk-ups are encouraged and can participate as time allows.
