Lu Ann Homza Ph.D. is a Professor of History at The College of William & Mary, and the director of the College's Medieval and Renaissance Studies Program. She has received the Alumni Teaching Award, the Plumeri Award for Faculty Excellence, and two Mellon Foundation grants for undergraduate research in Pamplona, Spain. Her Religious Authority in the Spanish Renaissance (Johns Hopkins 2000) was named by Choice as an outstanding academic book of the year. Her second book, The Spanish Inquisition 1478-1614: an Anthology of Sources, is the first primary source, English-language reader on the Spanish Inquisition; it was published by Hackett in 2006.
