Alumni in the Workplace

A degree in Sociology provides a student with the analytic, verbal and writing skills necessary for success in a wide range of occupations. The systematic gathering and interpretation of evidence that is essential to the discipline prepares our students for the kinds of tasks typically required of managers and professionals. A sampling of our graduates finds them employed in corporate sales (Jay ‘93), public administration (Rose ‘97), community service (James ‘00) office management (Mayra ‘02), career development (Rosie‘02), social service (Amanda ‘03) and advertising (Lili ‘04).
