  • 40 total units in sociology
  • One additional social science class from a discipline other than sociology (economics, political science, psychology, or any other course that fulfills an Understanding Human Behavior requirement in the University Core)
  • An average grade of C (2.0) in major courses must be obtained in order to graduate

Honors in Sociology

Students who are of junior standing and have a 3.3 GPA in all sociology courses and a 3.3 GPA for all university courses will be notified of their eligibility to join Alpha Kappa Delta. In order to be eligible, students must have taken at least four upper division sociology courses at LMU.
