Jesse Mills is a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science at the University of Southern California. His dissertation is titled, “Feeling Polarized: Emotional Partisan Polarization and its Reinforcement Through Campaign Advertising.” He studies American politics with an emphasis in voting behavior and political communication. He has co-authored a number of papers presented at the APSA and ISPP annual meetings, and was selected as the 2006-2007 outstanding teaching assistant in the political science department at USC. Jesse will be teaching Introduction to American Politics, Polls and Elections and Empirical Approaches to Politics this coming year.
