The Office of U.S. Rep Karen Bass (CA-33) seeks motivated full-time or part-time unpaid interns for Spring and Fall 2013 (March - September 2013) in the Los Angeles District Office. This is an ideal internship for candidates interested in learning about the legislative process, passionate about social and economic justice, and committed to public service. As an intern you will assist the District Office staff in the following areas of constituent services: casework and correspondence, communication projects, community outreach, and general office support. Ideal candidates are mature, articulate, detail-oriented, and responsible. Candidates should also possess an ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines, work well with others, and have a good sense of humor. Bilingual Spanish and Korean speakers are encouraged to apply.
