The Promise of Tomorrow 1940-1960 – A screening of a DVD showing the History of the Greek American Community in Southern California. Narrated by Olympia Dukakis. 

In cooperation with the Huffington Ecumenical Institute (HEI) the Center organized three symposia to promote a dialogue between the Catholic and Orthodox faiths:  

Women and Church, East and West: A Catholic-Orthodox conversation: A two-day Symposium 

Who Do People Say I Am? True God and True Man: Chalcedon’s Christology in a Postmodern World – by His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Armenian Church, Western Diocese; His Grace, Bishop Maxim, Serbian Orthodox Church, Diocese of Western America.

East and West: Cultural Dissonance and the Great Schism of 1054 - by Dr. Margaret Trenchard Smith 

With HEI and the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation (USA), the Center organized the lecture:

In cooperation with the Huffington Ecumenical Institute the Center organized the Conferral of an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters, honoris causa to his Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Primate of the Greek Orthodox Church in America.
