The Los Angeles Lonergan Center makes available for study and research by students and scholars the published and unpublished writings of the Catholic philosopher, theologian, and methodologist Bernard Lonergan, S.J., Lonergan memorabilia, Fallon memorabilia, secondary material upon which Lonergan drew in his writings, writings on or about Lonergan’s ideas, and M.A. and Ph.D. theses on or related to Lonergan’s work.

  • The Center sponsors and organizes the annual Fallon Memorial Lonergan Symposium at Loyola Marymount University
  • The Center hosts graduate seminars and ongoing co-curricular reading groups comprised of graduate students and faculty
  • The Center hosts visiting speakers in the area of Lonergan Studies
