Commemorating the 25th anniversary of the collapse of Communism in Eastern Europe, with a particular focus on the role of Solidarity in Poland. Event includes photo exhibition and "Eyewitnesses to 1989" panel discussion with Mariusz Brymora, Consul General of Poland in Los Angeles, LMU historians Elizabeth Drummong and Nigel Raab, and others.
Photo exhibition runs September 29 - October 1, 2014. Open to the public between 8:00 and 8:00 pm in the East Atrium of University Hall.
