New faculty are eligible to participate in the Housing Assistance Plan after their first year (e.g., the program goes into effect with the second year contract). The program contains some of the following elements (reported to the Faculty Senate on March 17, 2005):

• No cap on household income for eligibility
• Loan for a down payment up to $100,000.00
• The new home may be located within 40 miles of campus
