The Huffington Ecumenical Symposium is delighted to announce its annual student essay competition in conjunction with its upcoming symposium, “War and Peace: An Orthodox-Catholic Conversation.”  A prize of $500 each will be awarded to the finest undergraduate and graduate submissions, on the topic of “War, Peace, and Christianity.”

To enter:  

1. Register for the War and Peace symposium and attend.  

2. Submission forms will be available for pickup at the symposium.  You may also print the submission form here.  Submissions should engage the topic of “War, Peace, and Christianity,” with special attention to the presentations of the speakers hosted at the conference.  

3. All submissions are due by April 15, 2011 to Katherine Lash, UH 3734.

3. One winner from each category (graduate and undergraduate) will be notified by email following judging by a panel of professors.
