The Library is located in Loyola Marymount's University Hall Rm. 3325. Library hours are: 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. Monday through Friday, 10 A.M to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, and also by appointment.

The Archaeology Library is an integral part of the Archaeology Center. It consists of a collection of more than 10,000 items in archaeology, ancient Near Eastern and classical languages and cultures, biblical texts and studies, ethnography and ancient religions. The Library is operated by the Department of Classics & Archaeology under the direction of Fr. Fulco.

The Library is particularly rich in: Near Eastern and Classical Archaeology, Ancient Near Eastern Languages and Epigraphy, Near Eastern and Classical History and Religion, Biblical Studies, Qumran and related fields, and Egyptian, Near Eastern and Classical Art.

Note: This is a non-circulating, research library. Books may never leave the room. If you wish to have pages photocopied, please ask and any of our lab or library staff will be happy to assist you!

The Library is also home to our sarcophagus.
