" Please find above the link to apply for the MA in Heritage Management in Athens (Eleusis). The program is under the auspices of the Initiative for Heritage Conservancy which awarded me a Senior Research Fellowship in fall 2010, so my support carries good weight. I will be more than happy to support any of our students who are interested in applying, and I can assist them in finding affordable accommodation in Athens or Eleusis" Dr. K. Zacharia.

IHC 2011 Summer School Please find more details below and on the attached pdf. on the 3D Archaeological Recording and Visualization project of the ancient site of Eleusis, in Athens from last year's summer school, and information on the 2011 summer school which will take place in July for five weeks.
Here is the 3D point cloud of Eleusis they worked on last year's summer school:

Since I was a fellow of the IHC for fall 2010, I have ensured that LMU graduates will have extra help in finding good and cost effective accommodation and that they will have extra support during the year.
And, to further assist LMU students to attend, IHC will consider up to two responsible graduate students as student supervisors. They will be considered as staff for all purposes and they will be on call for whatever is needed (shopping etc.). IHC would charge these students only $4,000 for tuition (i.e. they would be paid $2,000 for their services) and that would also include their basic shared accommodation in a rented apartment (no hotels). This is an opportunity IHC can offer only to a maximum of two students, and may also be linked to other projects (as “a transfer of knowledge” project). Last year, IHC did so with a project in Fayum Egypt whereby two students digitized Fayum after attending the 2010 IHC summer school. For further applications of the 3D digitization in a Museum setting, please also check the virtual museum of 3D artifacts from the collections of the Hampson Museum in Arkansas: http://hampsonmuseum.cast.uark.edu/And also check this U of Arkansas youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Impw5LeuAMc
You are encouraged to apply if interested for the 2011 IHC summer school, or any others interested in going to an archaeological dig in Greece to contact Dr. Zacharia
