Reception to follow

Bioethical debate informs policymakers and others about the ethics of medicine and science, such as whether we should engage in reproductive cloning or radically extend life expectancy.  Professor Evans will describe the history of the bioethical debate in the U.S. and how it is disconnected from the American public’s views.  Bioethical debate has become polarized, and Professor Evans will make a proposal for making bioethical debate more accountable to the public’s views.
