AAAS prepares students to become global citizens and critical thinkers who understand the complexities of increasingly transnational and multicultural societies. These are skills and qualities that employers as well as admission committees at graduate and professional schools look for and value.
Students in AAAS have gone on to matriculate at graduate and professional programs in East Asian Studies, Asian American Studies, law, medicine, art history, communication, journalism as well as additional disciplines and fields. Others are currently working as, for instance, government employees, journalists, university professors, museum professionals, social workers, entrepreneurs, and medical professionals.
