Academic Advising
Advising and registration for new freshman takes place during the Summer Orientation Program. Students in the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts are advised by full time faculty members. Students will have several advisors during their academic career at LMU. During Orientation, they will see a faculty advisor who will assist them with selecting courses for their first semester at LMU. When classes begin, they will be assigned a faculty advisor in the department of their declared major for future advising. Students who have not yet decided on a major are also assigned to a faculty member until the major is formally declared. Supplemental Pre-Law and Pre-Med advising is also available to students in any degree program.
To find your advisor’s name and contact information, go to “Registration Information” on PROWL. Advisor assignments may change periodically due to faculty sabbaticals or a student’s change of program.
