Screening and Discussion
Starring
Liam Neeson, Aidan Quinn, Stephen Rea, Alan Rickman, and Julia Roberts,
Neil Jordan's film depicts the controversial life and death of Michael
Collins, who led the IRA struggle against British rule and founded the
Irish Free State.

Event #3: A Reading by Peter Quinn
Peter Quinn is the author of two novels, Banished Children of Eve and Hour of the Cat and Looking for Jimmy: A Search for Irish America.
He has worked as a speechwriter for two New York governors, and as the
editorial director for Time Warner. A third generation New Yorker
whose grandparents were born in Ireland, he now lives and writes in
Hastings, New York.
